Zoom Bags at Milan Design Week: The Pop-Up Trolley Highlighted at UPTO, curated by Anty Pansera

During the latest edition of Milan Design Week, Zoom Bags , an Italian luggage brand founded by Chiara Caramelli, shone in the " UPTO - how far can you go..." exhibition organized by the DcomeDesign Association at the Fabbrica del Vapore .

This event, curated by Anty Pansera and Patrizia Sacchi , represented an important showcase to celebrate the innovative spirit and avant-garde design of its creator.

Zoom Bags at Milan Design Week: a Pop-Up Trolley totem

The exhibition was an opportunity to challenge traditional design canons, exploring bold proportions and innovative experimentation.

Twenty-four designers and artists showed, through their creations, the greatness of innovative thought that manifests itself in every dimension, exploring a world of bold and unusual proportions, from the infinitely small to the infinitely large.

“Chiara Caramelli, product designer for Zoom Bags, designed the Pop-Up trolley that can be dismantled/closed/stored... at home and during production and storage. … Trapezoidal and slender, Pop-Up is customizable thanks to 10 colors identified by Eliana Lorena (color designer) as the most representative of Made in Italy” writes Anty Pansera in the UPTO exhibition catalogue.

The “Endless Travel” installation created with 30 Zoom Bags Pop-Up trolleys mounted in a totemic shape according to a precise color scale, captured the attention of visitors and stimulated a reflection on the future of design, in line with Patrizia Sacchi's Manifesto, who encourages us to overcome conventions and build a better future.

Zoom Bags' Made in Italy trolleys represent the perfect union between design, innovation and sustainability.

Combining style and functionality, Zoom Bags stands out for its commitment to eco-friendly materials and sustainable production processes.

“… The interesting industrial symbiosis of proximity is particular: its shells are injection molded in the same company that produces those soles for sneakers whose processing waste makes up the EVA rubber that characterizes it” continues Anty Pansera.

Recognition and Commitment to the Future

Zoom Bags' success at Milan Design Week 2024 is further recognition of its commitment to innovation and sustainability .
