From November 5th to 27th Pop Up trolley by Zoom Bags will be among the protagonists of the #Archives exhibition , at Palazzo Brunelli Bertazzoli in Bagnolo Mella (BS), proposed by CO.ART.CO. APS with the patronage of the Culture Department of the City of Bagnolo Mella.

CO.ART.CO – acronym for Contemporary Art Collection of Bagnolo Mella – for this autumn 2022 has decided to focus on a exhibition dedicated to design and entrusted its curatorship to Eliana Lorena , an internationally renowned designer who has worked for illustrious brands such as Moncler And Mandarina Duck.

#Archives is not just an exhibition of design artefacts: it is a repertoire of the many collaborations that Eliana Lorena has developed over the years, first through consultancy and then in projects with women and men who happily mixed knowledge and crafts and shared them in a fluid. Much of his research, set on principle “form follows material” , gravitates towards surfaces and colours.

And it is precisely on the Colore project for Pop-Up trolleys that Chiara Caramelli – designer and founder of the brand Zoom Bags – and Eliana Lorena found themselves collaborating again , a few years after their first meeting on the projects created for the Mandarina Duck brand. A collaborative relationship transformed into friendship which was consolidated and materialized in wonderful color range of Pop-Up , the eco-sustainable trolley made of recycled rubber, Made in Italy, and customizable with multiple color combinations between external shells and internal linings and with innovative functional solutions.

As Pop-Up of Zoom Bags finds its place within #Archives , an exhibition that becomes a new opportunity for dialogue between different expressive modes. According to this principle, the most disparate products are found in the exhibition, which from almost artistic artefacts lead to pure technology: from wallpapers to scarves, from lifestyle accessories to plates and vases, up to trolleys, all obviously in the name of authorial design.

“My work in the fields of industrial production, material culture and artefacts has for many years constituted the fulcrum of my design thinking and shifts attention to the meaning of the product: from the limited edition series, declined in sustainable natural and artificial materials.

The figure of the exhibition is the presence of designers who over time I have met in design schools, in my professional studio or for collaborations and exhibitions. Friends with whom I share their projects, common ones and elective affinities.
